It's fantastic. I love that set. Any one interested in it could reach out to members of rendezvous LA. I bought my copy directly from 'lethalethan' and he had a few copies at the time. He used to sell them on discogs but not sure if he still does. Alfonso may have some too.

Yesterday I was playing DALI release When Haro Met Sally followed by Deadly Avenger's Godzilla tape. My tapes were getting pretty unruly lately with messy stacks on top of the receiver and tape deck so I made a new shelf out of spare wood in the barn.

My wife likes it so much she asked to make two for the bathroom to store towels in.

#109193 Kickass shelf, Inks!

Here's a link to a tape my one of my personal favorites, Norm Chambers:

You might know him from his work as Panabrite or under his Jurgen Muller alias. All worth a look.

#109207 @inks - Shelf looks great, I like the long rows of tapes like that.

Thankful for the heads up here about the dead stock of this that appeared. Dark and creepy with some energetic percussion sneaking in at times. Enjoying this today and the tape sounds great.

#109294 Thanks guys. I don't think I'll be finishing the shelf but I do need to hit a few spots with some fine grit sand paper as you can see some glue. I like the look of raw wood.

Here's the current listening

#110572 That Hellraiser tape looks awesome. I love that they did the Lament Configuration for the internal art. Honestly surprised they put that much effort into the design. I guess they need to justify their premium $15 cassettes ;)

#110935 Love the packaging on that Ogre tape. It's a pretty good release as well. If there are still copies at megatapes I should order one for myself.

What would you recommend?

I sampled a few songs off that Ill Beastles. It's really well done.

The Yasiin Gaye tape is the other one that springs to mind, but there were definitely a couple more. The cat that did that also has others that are good. Fela Soul especially.

#111157 @Mateo, I sampled that Yasin Gaye tape on bandcamp and enjoy it quite a bit. I was listening to a similar mash up on youtube the other day called Genius Vs Genius - GZA & Ray Charles, it was pretty well done.

@Bez, I can't wait to get my copy, it shipped a few days ago so I probably won't get it for another week or so.
